If you are like me, you are continually searching for hidden treasures. I love to find a bargain!
Saving money is one of my favorite things to do! I enjoy a good yard sale or taking a trip to my
local Goodwill or thrift store. It is amazing what you sometimes uncover. I do say “uncover”
because you usually have to spend a lot of time searching for those special bargains. I have a
friend who went to a yard sale and purchased a whole set of “Blue Willow” dishes for $25! After
taking them to be appraised and finding their true value, my wonderful friend took them back and
offered to pay more! The sweet lady who sold them would not hear of that. So she was thrilled
to then enjoy her new “treasure”.
I pray that I am as quick to look for hidden treasures in the people I come in contact with each day, as I am to search for the hidden treasures at my thrift store. I am convinced that sometimes we must be willing to dig for the treasures in our friends, church members, family members, and others.
I pray our 28th annual Liberty Spectacular will help us learn better how to search for these hidden treasures. I hope you and your friends are making plans now to be a part of this exciting meeting.
We are excited to announce that Ron (Patch the Pirate) and Shelly Hamilton will be our special guests. They will present a special musical session during the meeting with our Liberty Patch the Pirate sailors. You will not want to miss this event!
You will also notice that we are adding a Junior Girls Spectacular this year for girls in Grades 2 through 6! We have special activities planned for them including crafts, a treasure hunt, and a special session with Patch the Pirate!!
